Editor’s Letter – February 2022

Hello there!

Welcome back to another Editor’s Letter!

I hope everyone has been keeping well and safe! As restrictions are once again being eased, we urge you all to keep safe and remain vigilant with covid-19. We are not out of this pandemic and it’s important to remember vulnerable people remain at risk. So with this in mind, keep others in your thoughts and keep them safe.

Continue to mask up on public transport and crowded spaces, test regularly, get your vaccinations, and wash your hands! A continued collective effort is still required, even after almost two years this pandemic is not over. Please remember that!

So what’s coming up this month? It’s Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week, from Monday 7th February to Sunday 13th February! It’s all about raising awareness for wellbeing when it comes to the younger demographic. A very important message! Look out for some wonderful content by our writers!

A few weeks ago, we announced our collaboration with mental health advocate the Amazing Arabella! She will be writing a monthly column for Mental Magazine! The first will be an introductory article, all about who she is and what she does. We are so excited to be working with her and cannot wait to see what happens!

That isn’t all! We have a very special side project launching at the end of this month… but that’s all I will say for now! Keep your eyes peeled for further announcements very soon!

As always, I want to take this opportunity to thank the core team and writers. Without them this publication does not go any further. They are truly the backbone of Mental Magazine. Finally, thank you to all of you, the wonderful readers of Mental Magazine. Take care and keep smiling!

Best,

Aaron.
